AI-generated fake image of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma circulated on social media, CMO said

The Assam Chief Minister's Office said a fake, morphed image of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, created using artificial intelligence, was deliberately circulated on social media. The office said it was intended to mislead the public and tarnish his image. A case has been registered, the people allegedly involved in creating and spreading the image have been identified, and legal proceedings have been initiated.
